The CEO and Founder of the G2G Initiative is a Toronto-based investment professional and philanthropist. Her passion in life is to provide girls in developing countries with an opportunity to live a better life, to end the poverty cycle, and alleviate suffering. Every year, The G2G Initiative identifies and provides funding for a handful of carefully selected charities around the world that have a similar focus. The G2G Initiative is funded solely by the CEO and Founder and does not accept outside donations at this time.
The Giving 2 Girls Initiative provides grants to Partner Charities around the world that share our vision - to improve the lives of girls in developing countries. We carefully review and assess whether we are the right "fit" for the Charity and the Charity is the right "fit" for The G2G Initiative by conducting due diligence, hosting conference calls with founders and employees, completing reference checks, reviewing financial budgets, and attending site visits. Once we select a Partner Charity, our goal is to build a long-term relationship with the nonprofit and continue to provide support on an ongoing basis.
The Giving 2 Girls Initiative is focused on building long-term partnerships with our Partner Charities where we can support current and future initiatives. In addition to providing funding, G2G has the ability to leverage its network to identify other like-minded donors, evaluate strategic initiatives and expansion opportunities, and review legal documents and contracts for the Charity to limit financial, operating, regulatory, and legal risk. Our goal is to work with our Partner Charities to support them in areas where we can add value.
